2017 is almost over!
It's time to look back on it:
I've been busy as always, I took up some new challenges (being a teacher...) when I should have spared myself... Still, I learned tons of new stuff that will allow me to make a Pingouin & Raptor game!
\^^>/ Yes, finally!!!! \c^^/
While I'm studying programming, many of my small games are starring Petit Grou, and Pingouin has yet to appear!
But I'm starting to design a new game and Pingouin will co-star in it!
Might be an hidden objects game ;)

Inktober is done ! Here's all 31 drawings!
I started with fanarts and finished with a serie of "Halloween tiny assistants" with my usual dinosaurs, Petit Grou the raptor, Kirou the young T-rex, and Douw the diplodocus!

I haven't been drawing on paper for a long while (but for roughs) so it was challenging at first, then it started to be really fun :)

Inktober and an Halloween game...
October...
Inktober started and a friend of mine asked me to do it with her!
I'm tired as hell but I won't give up è____é
Also... Another game jam, Halloween theme, and even though I said I wanted to focus mostly on programming, I already made some cute assets... And there's only 7 days left...

Snake Pass 2D
For the last gamecodeur.fr game jam, I made a "demake 2D" game! It was inspired by Snake Pass on Switch because Noodle is soooooo cute <3
No dinosaurs this time, but a snake! There's still some issues that I couldn't fix before the deadline but I hope I will be able to repair everything soon.
For the next game jam, I'm resolved to focus more on programming è____é
It's available on itch.io \c°°/

Game Jams and Petit Grou Wild Hunt \c^^/
Hello there! c^^
Two months ago I was working on a puzzle game for gamecodeur.fr 7th game jam and here's the result!
It's available on itch.io \c°°/
Then I participated in another game jam. During 2 days with 3 other people, we gave our best to break down stereotypes:
And it's also on itch.io c^^
So I started to work on Petit Grou's adventures!
There's a lot of work for me to do, but I hope to have a nice prototype before the deadline!

Recursivity! @__@
A new game jam has started!
One month to make a puzzle game \c^^/
I choose to work on a very simple concept, a match-2 game where you click on the same tiles to make them disappear :)
Displaying the grid was pretty easy, but then I had to check the matching tiles!!!
And so I discovered recursivity, or oh well recursivity didn't leave me any other choice! Surprisingly, that wasn't that much difficult and using tables to stock tiles gave me a harder time!
The game is almost ready now, I learned a LOT with this new exercise c^^
What will I make next time???

Gamecodeur Game Jam
I started to study gamecodeur.fr course in March. A few weeks later, a Game Jam took place! I loooove game jams, how could I have ever resisted c^^
After a quick brainstorming with my friends from Tuesday Quest, I got a simple concept that would allow me to use what I just learnt!
After a quick brainstorming with my friends from Tuesday Quest, I got a simple concept that would allow me to use what I just learnt!
The idea was to find the right dinosaur!
After lots of struggle and great discoveries (booleans my new friends <3 ) I managed to add a timer gauge, a pause and lose menus! A friend of mine composed some music and sound design \c^^/
I still have to work to add some lives! And also new dinosaurs!
In any case, this was a fantastic challenge and I can't wait to try my skills on a new project.

Spring brought new challenges for me!
I finally found a way to learn how to program games: gamecodeur.fr \c^^/
I also gave a shot at ArtStation Environment Challenge:
